We were very proud to attend and speak at FPJ Live on Tuesday 9th October 2018 to tell some of the industry’s leaders about Halo.
It was a really interesting and inspiring day listening to many leaders of the fresh produce industry tell their stories of their business’ journey and insights into their thoughts on various issues such as Brexit.
Some of the highlights of the day included Ed Griffiths’ presentations which covered a number of interesting facts and statistics about fresh produce; did you know that the UK population consumes approximately 5 billion bananas each year? In addition to this, it was fantastic to listen to Sainsburys share their passion for ethical trading. We also thoroughly enjoyed a short cooking demonstration from Mick Elysee and a passionate talk from Alison Capper from Great British Apples emphasising the growing need for people in the fresh produce industry.
We were delighted to have the opportunity to also present on the day and talk about Halo and our plans for disrupting the current supply chain by reducing food miles and increasing freshness by adding value to products; we are now only a few weeks away from opening our new multi-temperature facility.

We’d like to thank all the team at Fresh Produce Journal/FPJ Live for putting on a fantastic day and giving us the opportunity to tell people about Halo.
